Senior Investment Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct in-depth financial and strategic analysis of investment opportunities in renewable energy projects (solar PV, wind, green hydrogen, biofuels, sustainable fuels, etc.).
2. Build and maintain financial models to assess project viability, returns, and risks.
3. Perform market research and track industry trends in sustainable energy and green fuels.
4. Support deal execution, including due diligence, valuation, and preparation of investment memos.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (strategy, operations, finance) to align investment decisions with corporate sustainability goals.
6. Monitor portfolio performance and provide post-investment analysis and reporting.
7. Engage with external partners, advisors, and industry experts to source and evaluate new opportunities.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or equivalent) preferred.
2. 3–5 years of experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, or strategy, with exposure to green energy and sustainable fuels.
3. Prior in-house investment experience (corporate venture capital, strategic investment team, or energy company) strongly preferred.
4. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
5. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to influence senior stakeholders.
6. Passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and decarbonization.
